Simple, sturdy tubes in contrasting autumn shades to top off your pumpkins.

- Fasten off both stems, leaving a tail for sewing.
4. WithMe signature heart
The same little heart sits on every WithMe original — our way of signing it with love. Use any contrast colour from the project.
- Round 1: 3 tr, 3 dc, ch, tr, ch, 3 dc, 3 tr in a magic ring [15] — Ch 3 first (it doesn't count as a stitch). After the last stitch, ch 3 and sl st into the ring, then pull the ring tight — the dip at the top of the heart forms as you pull.
- Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing the heart in place.
Finishing
- Top up the stuffing so both pumpkins are firm, plump and round.
- Weave the tail of each pumpkin through the front loops of its last round and pull tight to close the top.
- Make the pumpkin segments: thread a long length of matching yarn, push the needle down through the centre from top to bottom, bring it back up around the outside and repeat 5 times, spacing the wraps evenly. Pull gently so each wrap sinks in and forms a segment, then secure underneath.
- Sew the sage stem to the top centre of the blush pumpkin and the dusty rose stem to the cream pumpkin.
- Sew the signature heart to the front of the blush pumpkin, between two segments.
- Weave in all ends.
Tips from the WithMe studio
- For a perfectly round shape, add a bit more stuffing to the center than the edges.
- If your tension is loose, try sizing down your hook to keep the stuffing hidden.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use a different yarn weight?
Yes, but your pumpkins will change in size. Adjust your hook size accordingly to maintain a tight fabric.
How do I make the ridges more pronounced?
Ensure you are working strictly into the back loops for the sc_blo rounds. Pulling the yarn slightly tighter on these rounds can also enhance the ridge effect.
